I didn't feel like leaving and would like to stay here on the next trip. My stay was excellent for a quick business trip. the location was central, adjacent to the restaurant, and close to a golf area. the staff was welcoming, consistently courteous, and there was no reason to complain. the bar was perfect for breakfast.

Reasonably priced food in the lobby for breakfast. Good-sized and newly renovated rooms, reasonably priced, with sofas, a patio, as example...

The location was central, really close to the mountains and the other restaurant. The food was great and the staff was efficient. Got the same standard king suite with views booked online, appreciated that.

This place has a great location close to many attractions, affordable rooms with cozy feather pillows, and amenities like a living room and an iron.

Regarding service, it was good with a shuttle to-and-from the airport.

The restaurant and bar were empty on a Friday night. Could not order a drink with dinner, a glass of wine had to be gotten from the restaurant next to the hotel. Food in the restaurant not good. Said open until 9PM but no one around. The TV in the room kept fading in and out on sound and picture.

Great "centralized" location. Comfortable, clean room.

Older, motel style facility entering rooms from unsecured parking lot. Not what I expected from a DoubleTree.

Very impressed with the king room and extremely friendly and excellent staff with great customer service from desk staff. the views over the mountain are unbeatable. Excellent location next to the golf course, which I think is probably one of the better spots in south Tucson, with easy access to a mall and gift shops.

Love the lounge, the restaurant and breakfast buffet. The room was comfortable and worth it.

We would have liked a small microwave in our king bed room.

We greatly enjoyed the room; it was newly decorated with a beautiful northern view of the mountains. the bedroom plus pullout sofa bed was a nice touch. Unbeatable and magnificent location. the staff were extremely friendly.

For the price, I was surprised that they don't give breakfast. One has to buy it separately. Surprisingly I had just been on the east coast and hotels of similar quality provide very good complementary breakfast. Actually most if not all hotels on the east coast provide breakfast as part of the charge. As if that was not bad enough, there was no microwave in the room. When we asked, one staff told us that they would bring to the room on request. When we did request, the front desk said they don't provide microwaves in the rooms. Instead they offered to heat for us the food we needed to warm. We also found that the items provided in the rooms are more or less being rationed. Each day they would put 2 packets of coffee and tea and a few packets of sweeteners. For two people they had just two towels each night. Basically, it seemed to me like the service in such a nice hotel was below expectations.
